The Grampanchayat Pandarkanali south is an administrative Panchayat of Dhanbad Block situated in Dhanbad District under Jharkhand state. Under of pandarkanlali panchayat has five villages Chirudih, Gabhudih, Pandarkanlali, Parsia and Saraidaha. Gram Panchayat is further divided into 10 Wards. The size of the area is about 10.43 square kilometer. Pandarkanali  south Panchayat, an administrative Panchayat of  Dhanbad  Block has its headquarters at Dhanbad. It was carved out from Parsia Panchayat on 10th May 2001.

Pandarkanli South Panchayat is surrounded by agriculture land and all area is coal baring. This panchayat is located on Central of 10 km west of Dhanbaad. The most region is acquired by BCCL and this area have few underground coal mines. In this area has found different type of species are Simul, Bamboo, Palas, Mahua, khajur mango, and basudev Rivers flows through this panchayat and contributes immensely in the biodiversity of the region.

Panderkanli  South Panchayat (Dhanbad) is a mineral rich region and is bestowed with the best quality coal mines. The mineral rich land also posses high availability of Mica.. The climatic condition in the region is generally dry. The most pleasant time to spend in the region is during the winters. Summers are mainly hot and humid. During the month of May, sometime the temperate rises up to 47 degree Celsius. The region experiences monsoon during the month of July.
